Hand dyed in Ontario, Canada by a family-owned operation with over 30 years of passion for high quality wool, knitting, and design, each mini skein in this box is a tiny work of art in its own right. Soft, springy, and tightly plied, KPPPM has a beautiful sheen and a satisfying bounce that makes every stitch a pleasure — from the first cast-on to the final bind-off.
As fun as your first box of crayons, the Pencil Box unleashes creativity and gives you the opportunity to play with color. Use the mini skeins for striping, colorwork, or gradients, or mix and match them with a coordinating KPM solid for a larger project. The Sweet Pea palette is especially beautiful for shawls and wraps where the color shifts can really sing.

Each skein should be wound into a ball before knitting. As with all hand-dyed yarn, colors may vary slightly from skein to skein and from photos shown — this is part of the natural beauty of the hand-dyeing process.
A note on hand-dyed yarn
For best results, buy enough yarn for your entire project at once, and alternate two rows from each skein as you knit to ensure an even, blended finish.
